Description
A Facebook Shop opens up a new channel for Demandware clients to drive additional online revenue, enhance brand awareness and consumer engagement, and acquire more information about consumers that may help influence future marketing and merchandising decisions.
Capabilities
With the Facebook Shop application, Demandware clients can power the following capabilities within Facebook:
- Consumer shopping - supports a rich shopping experience in Facebook for consumers, including inventory availability and product information delivered from the Demandware Commerce Platform for display directly in Facebook
- Like and share - users can like and share products with their friends to create a more social shopping experience
- Search - allows users to search all products included in the product pages
- Content slots - enables brands to easily change content images within Facebook to feature selected products, conduct promotions or display other content
The Facebook Shop is also fully customizable so that retailers can easily extend and customize the storefront using all the capabilities of the Demandware Commerce platform to meet their unique brand requirements.
