Description
The Android platform is one of the leading operating systems that powers mobile devices used by consumers around the world. Retailers who provide native applications on the Android platform can provide a shopping experience that is richer and more interactive than what they could offer through the mobile web. This project provides retailers a mobile native reference application optimized for Android smart phones that can leverage the full capabilities of Demandware Commerce and can be customized to the specific needs of the brand.
Capabilities
With the Android Mobile Native Application, Demandware clients can enable customers to:
- Locate a Product - users can browse and search for products smoothly and easily on a interface optimized for Android mobile devices
- Add Items to Cart - customers can add items to a cart, review items and quantities
- Manage Accounts- users can easily view and edit profile information to improve customer experience
Built using the Demandware Open Commerce APIs, the Android Mobile Native Application demonstrates how retailers can connect consumers to the brand with a consistent, powerful experience across devices and applications. The Android Mobile Native Application is fully customizable.
